Batik Terap Mermaid dress - Oolong tea

This beautiful Batik Terap dress is hand copper block printed by Artisans in the east coast of Malaysia. With the process of dipping the copper block into hot wax and stamping it onto this cotton fabric, it is then dyed and boiled to remove the wax residue leaving us with this beautiful floral motif that pop's out. Sewn together by Afghan refugees currently residing in Malaysia. This dress is proudly 100% made in Malaysia.

Hidden pockets on both sides, a detachable waist ribbon to accentuate the hour glass figure this dress is a lovely feminine touch for a day out! Wear it off or on shoulder.

Please take note that this fabric is handprinted and dyed, there may be imperfection and irregularities in each print as a natural charm of the handmade nature.
